Now in its eighth year, Office Productivity Training (OPT) continues to offer high-quality training programs locally in the St. Louis metropolitan area and virtually across the United States. Founded in July 2017 by Debra Lassman and Gina Niebrugge, former instructors and program development specialists at Southwestern Illinois College’s Selsius Corporate and Career Training, OPT emerged after the Selsius department was phased out due to the Illinois budget crisis. Seeing an opportunity to serve organizations in Belleville, Illinois, and the St. Louis metro area, Lassman and Niebrugge joined forces to create OPT.
